The Go Girl Run Half Marathon is billed as a true celebration of friendship and sisterhood and is specifically designed to celebrate women’s health and fitness and encourage runners and walkers of all levels.
There aren’t many women specific races across the country, but each year in Oklahoma City, OK, Columbia, MO and Springfield, MO there are a series of half marathons for just that, the Go Girl Run races. The races take place at beautiful venues in each city and also are run during spring, the perfect time of year to race. Race organziers say that the time spent training, socializing, and running could be the best time their runners spend during the year.
With a custom training plan, runners can be confident to hit their goals at any of the Go Girl Run Half Marathon races. This could mean finishing the race with a smile, setting your personal record or even trying to win the race.
