ABOUT BRONX 10 MILE TRAINING PLANS
The Bronx 10 Mile is the last leg of the five-part New York Road Runners' Five-Borough Series, a set of races that celebrates each borough through routes that highlight the unique features of their neighborhoods. Over 12,000 athletes of all skill levels come to the Bronx to run this race. The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile starts on the Grand Concourse at 165th Street and finishes on 161st Street near Yankee Stadium. The majority of the course travels through the Grand Concourse and the campus of Lehman College before returning to the finish just outside the ballpark. It’s an out-and-back route, and runners reach the turnaround point at the New York Botanical Garden. The course features a few rolling hills, so our Bronx 10 Mile training plans include hill work that helps you prepare to use the elevation changes to your advantage.
