Each year, the California International Marathon is run in early December. For almost 40 years, runners have been traveling to Sacramento to run "The Fastest Course in the West," which has remained unchanged since its debut in 1983. Today, more than 10,000 runners from all over the world gather to take part in this hilly, challenging race.
