ABOUT CITY OF PITTSBURGH GREAT RACE TRAINING PLANS
On the last September of every year, thousands of runners gather in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh to line up for the 5K and 10K versions of the Pittsburgh Great Race. The 10K is now one of the largest 10K events in the country, so if you're lucky enough to snag a coveted entry, you'll want to train right. Once the course arrives on the famous Boulevard of the Allies, athletes will grade uphill slowly before making the turn toward the finish in Point State Park.
