The Crazylegs Classic is an 8K running race held each spring in Madison, Wisconsin. The course starts at the Wisconsin State Capitol and ends at Camp Randall Stadium. First held in 1982, the race was named in honor of Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch, a former UW-Madison football player. Whether you're running your first Crazylegs or you do it every year, Custom Training Plans provides athletes with customized training schedules for the Crazylegs Classic. Crazy Legs Training Plans

The first Crazylegs Classic attracted just 1,525 runners. Today, more than 13,000 runners finish the race each year. Since its inaugural race, the Crazylegs Classic has attracted more than 229,000 runners and walkers to Madison. The scenic course is a runner’s delight. The route starts opposite the State Capitol Building, heads down Wisconsin Avenue, moves onto campus toward Picnic Point, and ends at the 50-yard line of Camp Randall.
