The Illinois Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K race, and 5K race have been run on the fourth weekend in April since 2009. The courses feature the best of Champaign and Urbana, Illinois, and highlight the campus of the University of Illinois. All four courses are flat and fast, and many runners come to the Illinois Marathon with the express goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
