The third race in the New York Road Runners' Five-Borough Series showcases the best of Queens in beautiful Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The Queens 10K is a flat, fast race with gorgeous late-May weather. Beginning runners and those kicking off their training for fall marathons will love this event. Queens 10K Training Plans

The Queens 10K is run entirely within Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The race starts and finishes near the Fountain of the Planets. Once the race is underway, runners skirt the eastern border of the park before curving around Meadow Lake. The route then passes the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and Arthur Ashe Stadium. Participants will make a U-turn near Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets. Towards the end, the course wraps around the Queens Museum and passes by the Unisphere – the “World’s Borough’s” symbol – before arriving back at the Fountain of the Planets.
