ABOUT SILICON VALLEY TURKEY TROT TRAINING PLANS
The Silicon Valley Turkey Trot has been an area highlight since 2004. It's now one of the most popular Turkey Trots held anywhere in the United States: almost 17,000 participants finish the race each year. Both the 5K and 10K courses are centered around the downtown area and wind through the streets of downtown San Jose and Japantown. Once the route passes the SAP Center (home of the San Jose Sharks), the 10K route heads up and down Alameda through the Rose Garden neighborhoods before returning to the finish line.
